This is a beginners guide for those new to the event. It shows a few of the spawn points as well as potential search patterns you can use to find gifts. Enable annotations on the video as additional info was added through that feature. Also often the gift will spawn the same side (blue, red) as before just a different spot/area. Btw the gifts look like a christmas present that is green with a yellow bow and start off semi transparent when they first spawn. You need ten human players for it to spawn and it spawns around every 5 minutes. Gifts contain one class mask with limited use (only during halloween). Collect all 9 classes masks and you can craft a permanent Saxton hale mask for use year round . Update: if you wanted an overhead view someone added this on tf2 wiki that has most of the spawn points shown with a gift. I did not make it and cannot verify some of them but most of them are accurate and it gives another view of the ones shown in the video. wiki.teamfortress.com There are probably more advanced techniques and yes there are probably some I missed and there may be a new event coming soon so feel free to list any spots or more advanced search patterns below in the comments.
